Reproducibility

Did you manage to reproduce it?
Fully Reproducible
Reproducibility rating
How much of the paper did you manage to reproduce?
10 / 10
Briefly describe the procedure followed/tools used to reproduce it

We had some issues with running the packages as they were outdated. But managed to find an older RStudio package. We were able to fully reproduce the project after the initial struggles.

Briefly describe your familiarity with the procedure/tools used by the paper.

Our team consists of users who are familiar with R.

Which type of operating system were you working in?
Apple Operating System (macOSX)
What additional software did you need to install?

rgdal is outdated, the package is removed from CRAN now. We had to use an older version of RStudio.

What software did you use

RStudio on Windowns and Mac

What were the main challenges you ran into (if any)?

Some packages were outdated, and were not available on CRAN, so we were unable to run it on any of our RStudio versions. We were not able to restore the env. So renv failed to install several packages. This issue is related to R, and not the research materials/project. We were able to reproduce the steps with a older version one of our group members had.

What were the positive features of this approach?

Well maintained repo on GitHub, good documentation.

Any other comments/suggestions on the reproducibility approach?

It might have been useful to provide the version number of the packages and the specific version of RStudio.
